Vibrant pink stems and dark green leaves. Light purple veins give it a striking look at a market stand. Uniform color and size compared to other chars.
Companion plants: Tomato, Cabbage, Broccoli, Radish, Lettuce, Celery, Onion, Garlic, Leek, Chives, Bean, Peas.
Far from: Cucumber, Corn, Melon, Potato.
Planting tip: Direct seed mid-spring through mid-summer. Chards can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost date has passed. For successive planting, sow every week after 4 weeks before the frost date.
Harvesting tip: Harvest at any stage.
Storage tip:Cooling in water after harvest recommended.
