Deep purple skin, orange flesh, and a little spicy tasting. Very pretty looking at a market stand. 7” in size.
Companion plants: Chives, Leeks, Legumes, Nasturtiums, Onions, Radishes, Rosemary. Far from: Coriander, Dill, Fennel, Parsnip.
Planting tip: Direct seed as soon as the soil can be worked. Successive plant from spring until mid-summer.
Harvesting tip: When the carrot reaches the right color and flavor. Last 3 weeks in fields after full maturation in summer and longer in winter.
Storage tip: Store at 0°C at 95% humidity and good air circulation.
