Astro stands out among all arugula. Very cold and hot tolerant crop. Mildly spicy flavor leaves and flowers.
Companion plants: Beans, Alliums, Carrot, Celery, Petunia, Nasturtium, Calendula, Marigold, Dill.
Far from: Strawberry.
Planting tip: Sow as soon as the soil can be worked, and the soil temperature is above 4°C. Germination can take up to 5-7 days. Overcrowded plants bolt earlier so keep recommended row spacing.
Harvesting tip: Cut often as leaves are ready. For baby leaves clip leaves for cut-and-come-again. The flower is also edible. For tenderness, harvest leaves when young.
