Far from your store-bought frozen frisbees, these sourdough pie shells are flaky and flavourful. Pull them out and make a quiche or use the top and bottom together for a pie. Whatever you do, try not to eat it on it's own before you fill it. Made with fresh-milled Spelt and General Purpose flour.
Two 7" shells. Frozen.
Ingredients: unsalted butter, sourdough culture, fresh milled flour (whole grain spelt, hard white & soft white sifted), sugar, salt.
